HB1007 – State Health Improvement Grants – More government interference with health care

This legislation creates a new state governmental program to promote good health. Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) in conjunction with Family and Social Services (FSSA) will create goals and metrics for health and behavioral health. These types of programs are a step beyond the traditional role of government, have a poor track record, and tend to cost much more than the benefits.
